2016 is the 50th Anniversary of the first Southern Cross International Rally and the recently formed Historic Rally Club of NSW and ACT Inc think it is worth celebrating.
Our Autocross and Rally Series have now concluded for the year.
Avalon last Sunday was the last Autocross and what a good event it was.
We got in eight runs on a track that was dry but slippery to start and got faster during the day.
A few regulars were missing so we had eight drivers who enjoyed a great day on a great track.
Class winners on the day were.
We've just heard that rally legend, Ross Dunkerton, fresh from his "best event ever", will be speaking at our December Club meeting on December 9.
An event not to be missed.

Rob Cranston mentioned at the last HRA Club meeting that we would have a November mid month social get-together.
He thought "why not make it a pre Alpine event"... lots to talk about there..!!

Bagshot Rallysprint will be held on 31 October at the Bendigo Car Club’s Bagshot complex, about 35km North East of Bendigo.
A Navigation School at the last HRA Club meeting to be run in conjunction with the Vintage Sporting Car Club.
The date for the school is Sunday 23rd of August @ the East Malvern RSL.
It will be started with a classroom lecture by the well respected and credentialled Navigator / Director Dave Smith.
Results from the Kyneton Day / Night are in and I have updated the Autocross score sheet.
We welcomed new KC SCS competitors on the day...Duncan Benn with a Volvo 360GLT and Ross and Tim with the mighty Mercedes....hope to see you all again soon.

An ideal opportunity to give the ‘other car’ a run and to explore less well-known areas starting at the Westgate Bridge Service Centre outbound and travelling around the “other side” of the bay before heading cross country to Ballan and lunch.
As the heading says, Adam Boulter has for sale a 1979 RX7 shell with rotisserie.
Make him an offer he can't refuse - needs to be gone ASAP as he is moving to Tasmania and can't take it with him.
