Second navigation school and post practice session.

Monday 13th July, 2009 - Navigation School

The second of this year's two navigation schools will be held at the Peugeot Car Club of Victoria rooms at Unit 8, 41-49 Norcal Road Nunawading on Monday 13th July at 7pm.
Registration and paperwork from 6:30pm.

This school is being conducted by Glad Fish and Nick Wright and follows up on the introductory navigation course run for entrants in the George Woods Memorial Trial earlier in the year.

The level of navigation covered will be at an intermediate level and all competitors are encouraged to participate in the training session
which will cover more advanced topics for those competitors who would like to learn more about the skill of rally navigation.

A fee of $5 per head is being charged for materials and printed matter and we hope as many of you can attend as possible.

Sunday 2nd August, 2009 - Navigation Exercises

A follow up practical session will be conducted on the morning of Sunday 2nd August at Pakenham to be run out of The Grayn Restaurant commencing at 9am.
Registration and paperwork from 8:30am. Attendees must belong to a CAMS affiliated car club and no competition licence is necessary.

It is planned to have several short navigation exercises of 30 minutes duration with 30 minutes plotting time allowed for each exercise.

This will not be scored competitively but participants will be given their score for each exercise and an explanation of where they went wrong.

A BYO Bar-B-Q will be held from approx 1pm and will be followed by a debriefing session.
