Trailblazer 2010 - A word from the Director

Hi all.

The Trailblazer has come and gone for another year. This event would not have happened without the hard work of a great group of people. Thank you to the team.

Stuart Lister - Stuart's knowledge of this heritage rallying area is unsurpassed. It appears that the forest is in his many times he has reeled off roads and intersections without a map during discussions. It's not only this but the mechanics of how an event goes together just cannot gain this knowledge without many years of experience.

Russell Opie - Complete dedication to the event as Stuarts pilot and someone you can rely on at all times no matter what job you throw at him.

Tom and Carol Latta - Secretary and Steward. A great job by all the Lattas and under difficult circumstances but nothing seemed to matter to get the event up and running....Efficient handling of paperwork in any event is essential and Tom had it under control.

Kerril Maloney - Events do not run without a Kerril...what more can I say..!!

Tim Reynolds - A job well done...its not easy gathering up event Officials...Tim had it under control with spare people to fill in the gaps. Great effort...thanks Tim.

Alex Kovacevic. Set up the Tour...job well done.

Rob Bride and Rick Hartmann - Set ups and stand in zero cars....great work under difficult circumstances..thank you

Kaye Kilsby - For her course check and guiding the Zero car. (and a great dancing partner at the Union Hotel Heathcote...that's all i'm saying about that night..!!)

JD - Tour sweep and as it turned out assistant to me resolving problems at Central Control....thanks for all your work.

Bruce Halls - Swept the TRE and collected all the road signs...made the Sunday clean-up so much easier.

Thanks also to Karl Grealy for his work at Knowsley ,Roger and Mark for their Radio work, Peter Fraser for an asweome BBQ and breakfast as well as Dave Robinson for a Scrutiny venue and BBQ.

All the Officials who helped us on the day and night....the event does not run without you.

A big thank you to Paul McKinnon and Kennards Hire who helped us out with the Light Tower, Generators and the Toilet.

There is only one group to further thank.
The Competitiors who braved the Heathcote Forest...thank you for your entries and please join us again next year.

Rob Cranston.
