In a dramatic departure from their customary style of HRA events, the organising team previously known for their navigational events in the Goldfields of Victoria, have come up with a fully tulipped, route charted event in the mountains to the north of Briagolong.
Where you ask? That’s about 10 minutes north of Stratford, about 2½ hours drive east of Melbourne.
The event will be based at a central start/service/finish area at the Briagolong Recreation Reserve with ample service and trailer parking areas, while we will be catered for by the Briagolong Tennis Club members who are raising funds for improvements to their facilities. Two different spectator points will be available for spectators to watch their favourite crews come through twice.
Crews will compete over a broad selection of roads and tracks ranging from tight and twisty sections to fast, open, smooth roads and rock based mountain tracks.
The event uses approx 60 kms of competitive roads and 60 kms of transport before refuel and service. The second half of the event is a repeat of the first half with approx 60 kms of both competitive and transport.
Every crew will know their skills have been tested when they reach the finish.
