1974 Corolla for Sale

Hi, I am not a member of the HRA (member of the MG car club), but I was wondering if I would be able to advertise on your site.

I am to looking to sell my car that was bought as a project in October, but I got married in December, now its gotta go. Usual story.

It is a 1974 KE25 Corolla Coupe, with a 3K motor. When I purchased the car it had been sitting in the sellers backyard for some 18 months after he had supposedly send it to the panel beaters to be straightened and primed. All gaps look pretty true, however there are some small rust patches about.

The car started first time and idled perfectly (I was surprised) and I managed to drive it onto the trailer, off again and into the garage.

What I have done since purchasing:
- Replaced all tyres (brand new) on the full set of alloys.
- Sorted all parts that were not installed on the car and these are now are arranged in boxes according to part type. All the major parts seem to be there with some spares.
- Started removing what I deemed to be redundant wiring, e.g. air
horns, have not tried to start since, will hopefully do so shortly.
- General cleaning up, have thrown out crappy carpets and the rear
seats that were very rough.

What the car has:
- Roll bar, no markings or manufacturer details.
- 4 Alloys with brand new tyres, 2 spare rims.
- Extractors and exhaust.
- Dual carbs.
- 5 Speed manual (from Celica I believe)

Basically I am looking to recover what I have spent, nothing more. Car is being sold as is.

Feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to help. Email me at the address below.

Car is located in Cheltenham, Victoria.

$950 ono.

Thanks,

Michael.
