2013 Old BP Rally, Yes it’s on again, and not to be missed!

When?

7.00pm Thursday 9th of May until Sunday 12th of May 2013
Five divisions each of approximately six hours duration

Where?

Start on Thursday 9 May at 7.00pm from the RACV Country Club at Healesville.
Division 1 finishes with Thursday overnight break at Benalla
Division 3 finishes with Friday overnight break at Mildura
Division 5 finishes on Saturday night in Ballarat.
Post event lunch on Sunday at the Ballarat Turf Club at Miners Rest in the midst of their Mother’s Day race meeting.
Supp Regs will be available in early February and will contain details of accommodation close to the Division end and start Controls in those towns.

What?

A 1900 km Touring Road Event, similar to previous Old BP Rallies, particularly the 2008 and 2010 events. A huge variety of roads and tracks from the mountains to the Mallee. It will require some endurance. It will be hard on the drivers, less hard on the cars, and not too hard on the navigators that prepare themselves. We will help the navigators prepare, as we want crews to experience as much of the course as possible.
How?
Enter and pay entry fee of $575, which includes $200 of supplied meals.
Discount of $100.00 applies if both crew members did not compete in the 2008 or 2010 HRA BP Ultimate Rallies or for each crew member that is under the age of thirty five years at the time of the event, except for a third crew member.

Why?

Because no one could wait five years, and it will be a memorable epic, that is the guarantee.
It is still the best value $/km event on the calendar.
So, look on E-Bay, find a pre 1985 car, remember that roll cage and logbook are not required, and then find someone who finds maps interesting, preferably young or new to the event, and have a go.
