General Meeting this Wednesday April 8th at 8pm.

A reminder to members that the April meeting is to be held this Wednesday evening at the East Malvern RSL. Dinner is available as usual from 6.30 onwards and by all accounts the new chef Jurgen is doing a great job. Come along for some fun and frivilaty and no doubt there will be much talk about our recent event the Trailblazer.

Confirmation of date for Trivia Night.

Please note in the last HRA magazine there was a small error made in respect of the night for the up coming Trivia Night. It will be held on FRIDAY the 8th of May NOT Wednesday as printed on page 9 of the magazine. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing as many members as possible on the Friday night, as it will be a lot of fun.

HRA Classifieds - Do you have any items of interest to sell?

Our Classifieds page is looking a little thin as members have been successful selling their rally bits and pieces. One member recently commented that he even had enquiries from overseas about his rally car that was advertised on the HRA Classifieds page!! So if you are considering selling anything rally oriented don't forget to send the details through to our website administrator.

HRA crews shine at Millard Memorial Trial.

HRA crew of John Rawson and Dave Smith in a Datsun 1600 have won the Millard Memorial Trial held in Western Victoria on Feb 27th and 28th.  The event which is organised by the South Eastern Car Club of SA is conducted in memory of the Millards who were tragically killed in a road accident a few years ago. A report will be tabled at our next meeting and congratulations must go to

Second navigation school postponed.

The Navigation school to be held on Monday 16th March has been rescheduled to: Monday 13th July.

ARCOM survey for PRC category - Important for PRC future!

As part of its review of the Production Rally Car regulations, the Australian Rally Commission (ARCom) will survey CAMS members for their views on how the regulations for this important rally category will be formed in the future.

Navigation school great success!

On Monday night Glad Fish and Nick Wright conducted the navigational school part 1. Approx 30 attendees enjoyed the night and learnt the basics of navigation for rallying.

HRA's response to the Bush Fire Crisis.

The HRA has been sadened by the news of some members losing their homes in the recent bush fires in Victoria. The events of the past fortnight have devastated whole communities and the HRA committee feel that supporting its members in the first instance is the most appropriate action.

HRA Annual General Meeting announcement.

Just a reminder that next Wednesday the HRA annual General meeting will be held at 8pm at the East Malvern RSL. All members are invited to attend and those wishing to have a meal prior to the start of the meeting may do so from 6.30pm. The clubs new chef - Jurgen has a good reputation, so why not come along and try his gastronomic delights.

South Gippsland bush fire relief appeal.

Here is a good opportunity for the HRA community to assist some folks who in recent days have had their homes destroyed by Bush Fires. Some residents in the South Gippsland area in towns such as Yinnar and Boolarra, have lost everything except the clothes on their backs!
