2009 Event News...

Just Another Day.

Just Another Day continues in the finest tradition of The Shortest Day, it is just another Shortest Day, just slightly longer, however the roads that the survey party have found makes it all worth while for both driver and navigator.

Commencing very close to Melbourne, the survey party will head into the previous un-explored nether regions of the South West.

Repco Reliability Trial re-run unofficial scores for the final day.

The Repco re run has been run and won and from all accounts it was a fantastic and memorable event. Thanks must go to Graham Wallis and his team for organising the event as the word coming through from competitors is that they had an absolute ball!

Repco Reliability Trial re-run unofficial scores day 6.

Whilst Doug Fernie and John Beath still lead the Repco, Ian and Val Swan have moved up into second place despite having some engine problems along the way. Third is Greg Park and Bill Hamilton and as the event nears a close it will be very interesting to see if the top three placings change over the next two days.

The latest results for the Repco re-run show Doug Fernie leading, Greg Park still in second and Ian and Val Swan have moved up into third in their Falcon GTHO replica. Click HERE for the day 5 results.

Doug Fernie and John Beath lead the Repco Reliability Re-run with Greg Park and Bill Hamilton in their Peugeot 504 in second place and Peter Riseborough and Kay Kilsby third in the Stanza. For the rest of the results click HERE.

Repco Reliability Trial re-run unofficial scores for day 2.

Terry Naish and Ross Runnalls lead the Repco Reliability Re Run after day 2. Second place currently is Phil Pilvern and Rob Wilson in another Datsun 1600 closely followed by Doug Fernie and John Beath in yet another Datsun 1600. Click HERE for the provisional results for day 2.

Repco Re-run pics

The Repco re run commenced yesterday with crews heading off from the Melbourne showgrounds north towards their first stop at Tooborac. Following a light lunch and an opportunity for crews to mingle with interested onlookers, the field then headed north east to Bagshot, where the first competitive stage of the event was held.
