A reminder to all members that the ballot applied to entries for the HRA's second round of the championship - the Gill Davis Memorial Trial closes this Friday. So if you have not got your entry in you had better get a riggle on!

The first round of the HRA championship was run on Saturday and thanks to Rob Cranston and his team for organising a day Tour x 2 and the evening Trial.
Important Notice to all competitors, officials and spectators.
The 2009 Gil Davis Memorial will be a Multi-Club non-special stage closed road event and will be the second round of the HRA Rally Championship. The event will run as a night rally over one division and will incorporate navigational content in keeping with the trials and rallies that were held in the 80s. Please note that roll over protection and helmets are compulsory for this event.
Peter Otzen will be organising a scatter for Sunday July 26th, as the next round of the Touring Championship.
The 2006 and 2007 Tunbridge Trial were run in this format, but for those unfamiliar with this type of event here is a brief description.
The events start and finish at the same place – beside a barbecue of course.
As you are all aware, from 2009 the HRA is a member of the Victorian Club Rally Series - VCRS, and the first round is to be held on Saturday April 18 at Bonnie Doon. The event will be oversubscribed with the number of entries limited to 60. Several HRA members have entered and will be representing our club on the day and as usual it should be a fantastic event.
The Trailblazer is only 2 weeks away and crews are busy with final preparations for an event that should be very memorable. Rob Cranston and his merry team are busy finalising what should prove to be a fun and enjoyable day/night for all. Remember if you haven't got your entry in yet entries don't close until Mar 29 at 20.00hrs.
The first round of the HRA's rally championship and Touring championship will be held on Saturday April 4. Rob Cranston and his team have organised an event that will encompass two styles in one with a Touring Assembly in the afternoon from Kilmore to Heathcote which should not only test the navigators but prove to be a lot of fun as well.
The Trailblazer is getting closer and as usual we need officials.
We have filled all our control official needs and are looking for
passage control officials for the day and evening tours as well as the
forest competitives....all officials will be welcome to attend our
central control bbq at the completion of the event...it's a great
