The gradings sub committee has met now on several occasions and re-done the gradings for competitiors for the 09 season.

A great night was had by all on Wednesday night at the HRA December Christmas general meeting. A traditional Christmas meal was enjoyed by many before the start of the meeting which was a festive and fun time.
The December meeting of the HRA is our special Christmas event with lots of hampers to be won, raffles, awards to be presented and generally a great night to be had by all!
A Christmas dinner will be available for those wishing to arrive early at a very reasonable $25 per head. Presentations will be made for the Rich River Trial, as well as our Annual Awards:
The idea of this TRE is for drivers and navigators to enjoy the roads and compete safely. Some roads can be very fast so average times for those stages will be lowered but will still be rather quick and the competitors will be reminded ‘the roads are NOT closed therefore the Road laws are in place’.
A reminder that the next general meeting of the HRA is scheduled for April 9 (next Wednesday) at the East Malvern RSL. Some new initiatives will be introduced particularly in the area of making new members to the club feel welcome to our meetings.
Our December meeting saw the culmination of six raffle draws for 2008 with each meeting providing two names for the end of year major draw.

There were no fewer than nine Datsun 180Bs competing in the Alpine Rally, possibly the largest contingent of Datsun 180B's still rallying at this level any where in the world!
