Remember the Repco?
Remember the Repco? Those who were involved in the toughest Round Australia trial ever surely will never forget it! 2019 sees the 40th anniversary of the great event. The Historic Rally Association is organising a reunion lunch for those who were involved, in any way; as competitors, service crews, officials, sponsors and spectators. All are welcome.
The function will be a carvery lunch, cost $50 per head, with drinks at bar prices. The bar will stay open for those who want to continue reminiscing into the afternoon.
Videos of the event will be shown during the day and there will be interviews with selected competitors about their experiences.
If you would like to be part of this special occasion please pay $50 per head, details below.

HELP WANTED
If the Repco Reliability Trial was part of your life in 1979, then you’ve probably had moments, looking back, and wondered … where did they all go?
The thousands of people: competitors, service crews, officials, sponsors, and spectators.
For a few months, or a few weeks, or as in the case of school kids from Yunta, for only a few seconds; we were all part of the most exciting event ever seen in this country.
Ever since, rallies, roads, gates, heat, mud, shredded-tyres, crowds, and dust have been compared: “The Repco was tougher ….”
Forty years on, it’s time to have a reunion lunch.
After all, no-one else understands us.
