The HRA’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 13th February – see the official notice of meeting below.

Being a part of the HRA Committee is a great way to get to know the members, make friends and put that little bit back into the club you enjoy.

Notice of Annual General Meeting

East Malvern RSL, Stanley Grose Drive, East Malvern.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Historic Rally Association Inc., (HRA) will be held at the East Malvern R.S.L., Stanley Grose Drive, East Malvern, on Wednesday 13th February 2019 starting at 8pm sharp.

All members shall have one vote and no more.

No person shall be entitled to vote unless all monies due and payable to the association have been paid in accordance with By-Law 18.1

Annual General Meeting Agenda

  1. Opening and welcome.
  2. Confirmation of minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting.
  3. To adopt the Balance Sheet, Income and Expenditure Statement and
  4. Trading Accounts for the club’s financial year ended 31st December 2018.
  5. Election of office bearers and committee members.
  6. General Business.
  7. Date of next meeting.
  8. Closing.

Notes:

The HRA Statement of Purposes, Rules and By-Laws requires that only business set out in this Notice of Meeting can be transacted at the AGM. Any member wishing to bring any business before an AGM must advise the Secretary who will then include that business in the next Notice of Annual General Meeting.

The most important function of the AGM is to elect a Committee who will run your club for the next 12 months until the AGM in 2020.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the HRA website, http://www.hra.org.au.

Nominations for all committee positions must reach the HRA Secretary, by close of business Wednesday 6th of February 2019 and must include the nominee’s signed acceptance.

The sameperson can be nominated for more than one position.

All committee positions are open to nominations from any HRA member. There are four designated executive positions, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and up to 6 General Committee positions whose duties and responsibilities vary from time to time as required.
