No dust! New venue, grass display and a bitumen track
Planning is well underway for our second Rally Retro Day, now called Rally Retro Festival – a gathering of very special rally cars, championship cars and magnificent replicas – to be “On Display and On the track.” see our 2020 promotional video here
At this invitation only event the owners will be offered the chance demonstrate their machinery on a 750m bitumen course (with a short, compacted gravel section) so we can see and hear them in action.
The venue is METEC, 112 Colchester Road, Bayswater North, which offers grassy display areas and a sealed track for demonstration runs.
As well, it will be an expo for rallying in general to show off to the public and we hope to have some Excels and Fiesta’s on display as well as currrent Victorian Championship cars, event promotions and anything to do with rallying in our RALLY ALLEY section.
