Now Announced as Round 1 of the HRA Rally Championship. More than ever, Mitta is a Must
Based in the beautiful hamlet of Mitta Mitta and beside the Mitta Mitta river, the Mitta Mountains Rally is the series opener for Victorian Rally Championship. Not only that, but at Multi Club level it is round 1 of VCRS and VSRS (Victorian Sprint Rally Series). Now a round of the HRA Rally Championship.
It also incorporates the Mitta Masters event, for classic rally cars competing for a trophy handed over by a dead set rally legend and event patron. Now in its 5th year, past patrons have been George Fury, Geoff…

The VRC will have 146 km of stages while the VCRS and Mitta Masters will run over 95 km in 5 stages. The Sprint Rally Series (VSRS) crews have an early day, finishing at the end of heat 1 but still covering over 70 km. The course will be more open and less technical than before, but still with stages from 15 km to 35 km long and without any repeat stages. Put simply for rally fans, Mitta is a Must!
The Mitta Mountain Rally is presented by Border Oils and Batteries and is run by the North Eastern and Albury-Wodonga Car clubs. Full details, including a comprehensive accommodation list is on the event website
