Groups eligible to compete in all HRA Rallies.
R25 – PRC Vehicles Older than 25 years
This is calculated as current month minus 25 years. Refer to date of manufacture as specified on compliance plate affixed to vehicle. (eg, if the event runs in April 2018, the vehicle must have been manufactured in the preceding month 25 years earlier, ie, March 1993). Replaced H68 as an annual award category.
H81 – Historic Pre 1981 Group
Vehicles complying with the current HRA rules & manufactured between
1/1/1968 to 31/12/1980.
P81 – PRC Pre 1981 Group
Any car complying with the PRC Rally Car Regulations as per the
current CAMS Manual with the restriction that the car must be 2WD, non-forced induction, and must be of a type manufactured on or prior to 31stDec.1980.
Other groups
The following are vehicle groups that may be allowed from time to time
in various individual events. They have no annual championships
associated with them.
H68 – Historic Pre 1968 Group
Vehicles complying with the CAMS manual & Manufactured prior to
31/12/1967. (no longer a HRA championship award category, anyone who uses an H68 vehicle will score points towards the H81 annual award)
PM – PRC Modern Group
Any car complying with the PRC Rally Car Regulations as per the
current CAMS Manual with the restriction
that the car must be 2wd, non forced induction but may be of any age.
CRC – Classic Rally Cars Group
Any car complying with the Classic Rally Car Regulations as per the
current CAMS Manual.
