Reminder that the next General meeting of the HRA will be conducted tomorrow night at the East Malvern RSL. Meeting starts at 8pm sharp and meals are available from 6.30pm. Come along and enjoy all of the stories from the Red Centre to Gold Coast event. See you there!

With round 5 of the VRC just around the corner on Saturday October 18, we require a number of road closure officials. It is vital that we have more members volunteer to assist with these duties.

Clerk of Course Graham Wallis has announced that the Boisdale Rally Sprint will go ahead despite relatively low entrant numbers. A change to the program is that most of the action will now take place on Sat afternoon with maybe an early evening run followed by a meal at the Maffra pub. Home early for a change will suit most.

For those members looking for a different style of event and one that will primarily test drivers and cars then you should not miss the Boisdale Rally Sprint. Situated at the Boisdale hill climb and to incorporate some of the bush behind the circuit this will prove to be a memorable event. Supp Regs are available and no late entry fees will apply. Don't miss it!

HRA members have filled half of the top ten places in the Red Centre to Gold Coast Trial.  Other members have also faired well in this rugged event. Officer/Officer 1st, Batten/Snooks 3rd, Upton/De Vaus 4th, Ashton/Nixon 8th, Evans/Fernie 9th, Hall/Cole 11th, Wallis/Davies 21st, Rawson/Birrell 26th. Congratulations to all that finished and represented our club.

HRA members Dinta and Kate Officer have won the Red Centre to Gold Coast Trial by more than 6 minutes in their Mitsubishi Galant. Thrilled by their win they have ranked this victory as one of their most rewarding and right up there with their ARC championship wins!

Dinta and Kate Officer still lead the event by over 6 minutes to Graham Alexander and Mike Batten. As the field leave Goondawindi this morning the event organisers have a couple of hard competitives remaining that could catch them out!
