Revised V3 Supp Regs for the Readyplan Rerun are now available click HERE. There will be an assembly stage starting at Elmore on Thursday the 10th of May. This will be non-competiive, just an interesting way of getting to the start of the event proper at Swan Hill. Officials as well as competitors will be welcome to follow the route of parts of Division 1 and also Divison 5 including a stage or two that were cancelled back in 1978.
The Swan Hill Short Course Club will be putting on a welcome BBQ that evening Incidentally, Ian Richards the original director has been in contact and is keen to be involved and to relate to us how the event was concieved and run.
Friday the 11th will see an early start then a couple of competitive sub events before the long drive across to Renmark. This includes driving the original 161km stage across the Sunset Country.
On Saturday after a good night’s rest we leave Renmark en-route to Wentworth but not before travelling to Coombah and quite a few properties on the Darling ANA Branch region. Lunch is at Coombah Homestead.
Sunday travels in the direction of the Darling proper to Lake Mungo where we will partake in a special tour then lunch at Turlee Station. There will be competitive sub events along the way on all days except the assembly stage on Thursday.
Overnight will be at Balranald and we plan to organise a forum where people who were involved in organising or who competed can relate their experiences.
On the final day, Monday, we have breakfast at the surprising Yanga Homestead before returning to Swan Hill via another private property touring stage, a special test at Nyah, then to the superb Swan Hill Autocross Track where there will be multiple runs. before an early evening farewell meal.
Don't forget this is a Touring Road Event and you wont need a full on rally car. We have well over 40 expressions of interest, but are looking for officials as always, the more control points we have the better the event will be.
